I am proud to Sanction the prestigous America’s Polo Cup. These are very exciting times for the sport of Polo, with the thanks to great experiences like The America's Polo Cup and exposure with Television on a National level.
The America's Polo Cup has succesfully opened this sport to a new audience world wide. Our goal is to grow the sport of polo Nationally including in the Washington DC region with the America's Polo Cup as the United States Marquee Polo sporting event. I will deliver to you a spectacular polo experience unlike any other in the World to our Nations Capitol Region. The America's Polo Cup has been recognized by the President of the United States as Historic National Signature sporting event and it is also recognized as the premier polo sporting event in the country and the region by the National Polo Sports Alliance. I am committed to develop regional collaboration within our corporate community in Washington DC for more polo under the America's Polo Cup umbrella and in cooperation with the National Polo League of the United States. In 2010 American Polo Team faces off with the INDIA Polo Team, playing a game that is rich with tradition in an event that reaches far beyond the field.
To fully capture the spirit of America and India , the imagination and enthusiasm of their people, this cooperative effort combines Military partners from both countries, Embassy of India, the Diplomatic Corps, US elected officials, Capitol Region States & serves as a Economic Development engine for United States and our International Partners. This special global program includes national and international festivities that showcase elements dear to both nations, including community & International good will, air shows, sportsmanship, music, wine, cuisine, adventure and freedom.
